Dr. Farrukh was awarded Gold Medal by Pakistan Association of Plastic Surgeons in 2004. He took his Initial surgical Jinnah Hospital/Allama Iqbal Medical College, Lahore. Dr. Farrukh was extensively trained in Plastic Surgery at Pakistan biggest Plastic Surgery Institute i.e. Jinnah Burn and Reconstructive Surgery Center, Lahore. During his training, he spent time in Bristol, UK. Where he was trained in the field of Microsurgery. He was extensively trained in hand and upper limb trauma, replantation, revascularization, Skin cancers, burn and microsurgery. Dr. Farrukh did his BFIRST fellowship from the UK and EMSB from Australia.
He is currently working as Assistant Clinical Professor at Jinnah Burn and Reconstructive Surgery Center which is Pakistan largest working Plastics and Burns Center. Dr. Farrukh is CEO of Laforma Clinics which currently have two branches, one in Johar Town and other in Garden Town.
