WHAT IS THE PREPARATION FOR BREAST REDUCTION SURGERY?
Breast reduction surgery is a surgical procedure. Dr. Farrukh usually asks you to stop smoking (if you do) at least 2 weeks before the procedure, as it delays healing. You must take shower before coming for the procedure and to come with 6 hours of fasting. Dr. Farrukh will also advise you few blood reports or other tests as necessary for your surgery or anesthesia.

HOW BREAST REDUCTION SURGERY IS DONE?
Breast reduction surgery needs general anesthesia and is a day case procedure. You can go home the same day. The procedure lasts for around 3 hours depending on the extent of the procedure. Extra skin and extra breast tissue are removed according to the marking done before the procedure. The nipple is also brought up to its normal position.
